2018 Round Up

With the New Year fast approaching, we wanted to round up the AMAZING 2018 that we've had with new products launched, new retailers and new customers through the last 12 months that have MADE this year our best yet!


The ManCave Logo is Redesigned

We started the year off with a redesign of our logo to bring the brand into 2018 with a bang.


New Product: Face + Stubble Daily Cleanser

On 15th February, we launched our Face + Stubble Daily Cleanser, which is the first ManCave product that tackles stubble separately from the beard products in the range.


New Product: Sensitive Deodorant

On 2nd March, we launched the Sensitive Deodorant. This product had been long awaited as an alternative to our Eucalyptus Deodorant to suit people who needed a gentler natural deodorant formula.

New Retailer: ManCave launches in Tesco!

On 19th March, we launched 11 product lines in 550 Tesco Stores & Online, which was an amazing highlight from 2018.


Team Photoshoot: Ladybower Reservoir, Derbyshire

Fun fact: All of our creative product imagery used for social media, our website & retailer websites, is shot from within our own team.

Our team took a whole day to explore around the Ladybower Reservoir in the countryside of Derbyshire armed with the full ManCave range to take as many creatives images as we could in the good (but freezing cold) weather.  


New Website Launch

On the last Bank Holiday weekend of May, we launched our shiny, brand new website to give us better design capabilities and a much better experience for our customers using the website.


Visited Tesco HQ

The ManCave team visited Tesco Headquarters to talk about our upcoming product releases & give out samples to staff.

New Product: Micellar Cleansing Water launched

On 25th June, we launched the First Men's Micellar Cleansing Water to the market to an amazing response from followers & customers.

Visited Holland & Barrett HQ

The ManCave team visited Holland & Barrett Headquarters to talk about our upcoming product releases & give out samples to staff.

New Product: Water Based Pomade launched

On 12th July, we launched our Water Based Pomade to fill the gap in our hair styling offering to cover a water base, instead of a cream or paste.

The Grocer Feature: Micellar Cleansing Water

In July's edition of The Grocer, our Micellar Cleansing Water was featured on a full page advertisement alongside a featured piece for Men's grooming products.


New Retailer: ManCave launches in Holland & Barrett 

On 12th August, we announced that we had launched 16 products in Holland & Barrett stores around the UK & Online.

New Product: Anti-Pollution Face Serum launched

On 17th August, we launched our new Anti-Pollution Face Serum. This new addition to the Defence section of the ManCave range was a step towards more advanced skincare products.


New Products: Sensitive Body Wash & Blackspice Body Scrub launched

On September 1st, we launched our newest shower additions: The Sensitive Body Wash & The Blackspice Body Scrub. The Sensitive Body Wash was designed to fill the gap in our current shower offering for those with sensitive skin, which was received really well by our customers and followers. The Blackspice Body Scrub was a more innovative product designed to give that option for a deeper cleanse.

New Product: Caffeine Conditioner launched

On 17th September, we launched our Caffeine Conditioner to pair with our existing Caffeine Shampoo. This product had been long awaited with our current customers & followers!

Visited Doncaster Races on Gentlemen's Day

The team ventured to Doncaster Racecourse, partnered with Wainwright Golden Beer, to hand out samples & talk all about the brand & our newest releases. The Best Dressed Gentleman won a Survival Set!


New Product: Matt Hair Clay launched

On 1st October, we launched our new Matt Hair Clay. Adding this is our existing hair styling offering allowed us to offer a firm hold with a matt finish, which differs from our existing products.

Team Photoshoot Day: Off Grid Escapes Fishing Hut

Our team headed out to the Off Grid Escapes Fishing Hut in Mugginton, Derbyshire. We wanted to create some action shots of the products being used in a unique bathroom setting... we definitely achieved that here!


New Product: Amazon Exclusive Essentials Wash Bag Set launched

On 17th November, we announced the launch of our Essentials Wash Bag Set, filled with 5 customer favourites in a updated design wash bag. This Gift Set was launched exclusively with Amazon UK.

Black Friday Weekend: Record Breaking Sales!

For the Black Friday weekend, we launched our Black Friday Bundles, which was the most successful weekend for our website to date!


Anti-Pollution Face Serum Tube Ads Went Live

On 1st December, our Anti-Pollution Face Serum advertisement went live across 30 London Tube stations & 50 Southern Rail stations.

Hit #1 in Beauty on Amazon UK

On 14th December, we hit the coveted number 1 spot on Amazon Best Sellers with The Survival Set, a massive achievement to end the year on a high!

Hit 10K followers on Instagram

On 17th December, we hit 10,000 followers on Instagram, rounding off our year of never-seen-before growth.

We don't plan to slow down & have some exciting things coming in the new year too, so keep your eyes on our social channels and website for updates!
